Proof is the story of an enigmatic young woman, Catherine, her manipulative sister, their brilliant father, and an unexpected suitor.
They are all pieces of the puzzle in the search for the truth behind a mysterious mathematical proof.
Meet The Cast
Elora Jade Yochum (Catherine)
Elora Jade Yochum (Catherine) is a recent graduate from the BFA Acting program at Pace University. This is her first production with The Heights Players. She is excited to be back on stage in person! Some of Elora's past roles include Alison in Blue Ridge, Hermione in The Winter's Tale, and Lucy in You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown. She hopes you enjoy the show!
Kerry Wolf (Robert) is thrilled to add Proof to his other costume credits Sweat, Ruined, A Games Afoot, Twelve Angry Men & Waiting in the Wings. Acting recently in Act One, Dinner At Eight, Present Laughter, Summer and Smoke, Rumors & musicals La Cage Aux Folles, A Chorus Line, Cabaret and in 1983 Follies. Last season he directed Getting Away With Murder & this season he’ll be directing Lost In Yonkers.
Sarah J. Ahearn (Claire)
Sarah J. Ahearn (Claire) This is Sarah’s debut performance with The Heights Players. She has been performing in theater since 2002. Some of her favorite roles include Georgie in The Full Monty, Juliet in Romeo and Juliet, & Bernadine in Psycho Beach Party. Sarah also loves performing in film and TV. She has been on shows like “Meet the Browns” and “The Game.” She was recently cast as the lead in a short film that she will begin working on in the new year.
Leonidas Ocampo (Hal)
Leonidas Ocampo (Hal) trained at the William Esper Studio, part time, after graduating college and not pursuing his degree. This is his first production since the pandemic and he's feeling super grateful. Thank you Heights Players! Past theatre credits include Petya Trofimov in The Cherry Orchard and Julius Caesar in Julius Caesar. He also just had his feature film debut, playing Ferny in Ferny & Luca, which premiered at BAM Cinemafest 2022. Thank you!
Dorea Slagle (Claire u/s)
Dorea Slagle (Claire u/s) is a Brooklyn based actor and director, working in both theater and film. She was last seen at The Heights Players as Abigail in “The Crucible”. Albert Olszewski (Hal u/s)
Albert Olszewski (Hal u/s) is excited to be making his debut at the Heights Players. He has recently appeared in The Last Five Years (Jamie), Spring Awakening (Melchior), Rent (Gordon), and Noises Off! (Gary). Al is a Meisner trained actor from the Neighborhood Playhouse and has a Master’s in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Notre Dame.
Chelsea Marie Logan (Catherina u/s)
Chelsea Marie Logan (Catherina u/s) is an actress with a passion for storytelling. She was recently seen Off-Broadway in A Ladder to the Moon, a play she wrote and starred in. Proof is her favorite play and she is grateful to be a part of this production! Her next project is COLORS, a miniseries she wrote about the work of art that is love.
