About The Shows

Something Dark .. Something Funny .. Something Sweet!

Friday & Saturday, June 6th & 7th - 8pm

The Game by Louise Bryant - Directed by Lucette Moran

A one-act play about two lonely artists at the precipice of taking their own lives when Life and Death appear before them. As the Fates have decreed by Law, Life and Death must roll the dice to determine the humans’ destinies. Who will win this game of chance—Life and Love or Death and Despair? If you or someone you know needs emotional support, you can call or text 988 or chat online at https://chat.988lifeline.org/.

A Question of Sex by Arnold Bennett - Directed by Phil Williams

A satirical farce that explores social dynamics and its complexities, where a baby has been born to George, and whose Uncle has placed a bet on him with unusual conditions. Delving into the changing roles of society and the challenges faced adapting to these changes, this romp offers a glimpse into social attitudes and expectations, particularly regarding fidelity and gender.

A Penny Bunch by Vera Beringer and A. Neil Lyons - Directed by Heather Violanti

In 1916 London, a lonely flower seller and pavement artist fall in love, but shame over their past mistakes keep them apart…until a friend's frank advice gives them the courage to face their feelings. This rueful comedy of second chances just might remind you of My Fair Lady and Mary Poppins.  Come see the American premiere of this neglected gem, first produced at the Royal Court in London in 1912 and subsequently revised in 1921 for publication by Samuel French.
