Audience review #1
Received from Nancy, Sunday, April 5
Overall:
"Excellent"
Full comments: "This Heights
Players production of Shakespeare in Hollywood is a must
see. It is better than Hollywood and the closest you'll get to
Broadway in Brooklyn. All the actors are excellent; bigger than
the stage they are on. Puck and Oberon are not to be missed --
see them before they move to the big stage."

Comments
received for Pippin
Audience review #1
Received from Christine, Sunday, December 7
Overall:
"Excellent"
Full comments: "Nice job on the
show tonight. I was sitting in the "hot zone" row A and was
prepared beforehand in case I was asked to go up on stage. All
of you did a great job and have a great run."
Audience review #2
Received from Sheila, Sunday, December 7
Overall:
"Good"
Full comments: "Perhaps the
main players should wear microphones. Whereas, the actors worked
very hard and were very good, it was sometimes difficult to hear
and muffled."
Audience review #3
Received from Jillian, Sunday, December 14
Overall:
"Poor"
Full comments: "Despite a
cast that gave its all -- I felt this wasn't Pippin. It
seems the concept of the circus totally overwhelmed the
production where I didn't feel anything for the characters. It's
a shame. Beautifully sung, but I didn't get it."
Audience review #4
Received from Baroff, Tuesday, December 16
Overall:
"Excellent"
Full comments: "The split
Lead Players are both frightening and seductive -- mesmerizing
performances and an improvement from the original concept of one
character. This production is filled with such bold choices. I
highly recommend this entertaining yet thought provoking
musical. Graphic and intense, it ain't The Sound of Music."

Death of a Salesman
Audience review #1
Received from Frank, Monday, November 3
Overall:
"Excellent" Full comments:
"Wonderful! The Heights Players has more than
done justice to this classic American play. Top notch production
all around, lights, sound, sets and especially the acting.
Everyone was good, but the actors playing the sons and the
mother were brilliant! Two scenes actually made me cry openly.
When Biff confronts his father, I felt the hair on my neck go up
... it was that powerful. I also cried at the funeral when Linda
was saying goodbye. Don't miss this!"
Audience review #2
Received from Dina, Tuesday, November 4
Overall:
"Excellent" Full comments:
"Another great show presented by the Heights
Players! Ted Thompson does a superb job in directing this Arthur
Miller classic. Kudos to the whole cast and crew! A stand-out
performance by Bill Barry as older son Biff. His emotional
scenes truly illustrate the essence of Biff's tormented soul.
His breakdown at the end of the play was heart-wrenching.
Jeffrey Wisniewski is a terrific contrast to Biff as younger son
Happy. Patricia Lavin brings much empathy and strength to the
role of Willy's wife, Linda. Victor Barranca's portrayal of
Willy Loman captures the 'Everyman' quality of the character.
Personally I would have liked to have seen a more dynamic and
forceful Willy, especially in the confrontational scenes.
Nevertheless, I loved the show! It made me cry ... more than
once!!"

The Pirates of Penzance
Audience review #1
Received from Lalena, Sunday, October 5
Overall:
"Excellent" Full comments:
"My family and I went to see Pirates today and
we enjoyed it very much! The cast is tremendously talented. My
sisters and I have been watching the movie version of the show
all our lives so we are very tough critics ... we loved it. Good
job!"

No Sex Please, We're British
Audience review #1
Received from Peter, Wednesday, September 17
Overall:
"Excellent" Full comments:
"Hilarious! I laughed the entire time! The
actors and direction in this hilarious farce are superb! The
actors deftly carry off the comic timing and quick pace,
especially during the second act. This is worth way more than
the $15 you will spend on admission. So, why are you still
reading this?! Go reserve your ticket now! There are only three
more performances left."
